Production Diary #17 (Group Post)

In today's session I continued to cut and edit the sequence together, while Ben carried out some further institution research and Kaitlyn finished off the storyboard presentation, before catching up on her blog.

While editing, I have noticed that there are some large spaces where we have not filmed performance of COSMO (myself), and there are some performance shots that are not good enough because the lip syncing is obstructed by the microphone. After discussing this, we decided the best way to move forward will be to shoot some more performance, with alternate make-up, costume and background to contrast with existing performance; did not want to re-shoot the performance completely, as there are some shots, e.g. COSMO entering the scene and adjusting the mic stand, that work really well.

We were already aware that more close-up shots of unusual objects are needed, e.g. Rock Em' Sock Em' Robots, so we plan to tie-in shooting these with shooting the performance, in the Media Studies classroom tomorrow.
