In addition to the stop-motion we created with "SEASON
OF THE WITCH" being frantically scrawled onto a whiteboard, I created this
Psychedelic sequence with stars.
When starting to create a poster for album promotion, using
the online tool SumoPaint, I discovered a tool that can be used to
draw star shapes and change them by moving the computer mouse around in
circles; I thought that this would work well with the video, and so took
screenshot frames whilst moving the star shape around, to put together in
stop-motion.
This should work well as a Psychedelic graphic, as it is
reminiscent of animations used by bands such as Arctic Monkeys, and quirky
shots in videos from artists such as Jack White, from whom we have already been
greatly influenced by.
