Still frame of the scratchy film overlay
In addition to scratchy film (above) overlays that I have already experimented with, I am also exploring text overlays and graphics, which, with the use of Adobe Flash, could employ animated sequences that complement the animated scratchy film overlay.
Bold overlay text such as this is commonly found in contemporary concept music videos, for example:
After creating the text overlay concepts, I took the liberty of using our existing edited footage to create mock-ups of what they could look like in the video; basic key-frame animation via Adobe Flash or Premiere could influence the text to frantically flicker around the screen, like the scratchy film overlay.
